Who we are
Curtain Call ("we", "us") operates Curtain Call and sells it as a one-time digital download. For any privacy question, contact us at support@example.com.
What we collect
- Your email address — to create your account, deliver your download, and send sign-in links.
- Payment metadata — Stripe processes your card; we receive a record of the transaction (amount, currency, status, Stripe IDs). We never see or store full card details.
- Account & download activity — purchases, download events, sign-in events, and the IP address / browser sent with requests, used for delivery, security, and fraud/abuse prevention.
- Support messages you send us.
Why we use it (lawful bases)
- To perform our contract with you — deliver the product and your downloads.
- Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, and improving the product.
- Legal obligation — keeping tax and transaction records.
Who processes your data
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Amazon SES — sending your sign-in and access emails.
These providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
Cookies
We use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Retention
We keep account and purchase records for as long as you have an account and as required for tax/accounting (generally up to 6 years). Security logs are kept short-term.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Email support@example.com and we'll respond. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
