Mini Murder Mystery is designed to know as little about you as possible. There is no sign-up, no account and no advertising — just an anonymous install.
Mini Murder Mystery is operated by Flavr Web Dev Ltd, company number 14994358, registered in England and Wales. For any privacy question or request, email support@flavrapps.com.
The app never asks for your name, email address or any sign-in. When first opened it generates a random identifier for the install. That identifier is the only thing that links your device to your saved cases and your subscription — we cannot tie it to who you are.
Mysteries are written by Google's Gemini API. When you generate a case, your chosen settings and any custom character text are sent to Google to produce the story. This content is not used to identify you. Please don't include personal information you wouldn't want processed this way.
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and keep subscription status in sync, keyed to the same anonymous identifier. Neither we nor RevenueCat receive your card details.
Sharing a case creates a public link containing a snapshot of that story (title, characters, chapters and solution) so your friend can play it. Your notes, guesses and ratings are never included. Anyone with the link can view the story, so don't cast people in a case you wouldn't want them to see.
Our servers are hosted by Hetzner in the EU. Our processors are Apple (payments), RevenueCat (subscription management, US) and Google (AI generation). Where data leaves the UK it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. To delete the server-side copies of your cases and the anonymous record, email support@flavrapps.com from within the app's Settings (so we can identify the install) and we'll erase them within 30 days.
We process this data to perform our contract with you (delivering the game and your subscription), for our legitimate interests (keeping the service secure) and to meet legal obligations. Under UK GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, and you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
The app is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. We knowingly collect no personal data from anyone — including children.
If this policy changes materially we'll update this page and the date above.
